To Make Guacamole, You Have to Mash a Few Avocados

Well, my Guacamole is pretty famous here in the Heartland, where, unfortunately, a lot of Guac is the frozen stuff. Can you imagine?  I admit. I did not learn to make Guac in Key West. I learned to make it in California. Out there, you could pick up avocados that had fallen from trees onto the sidewalks as you strolled through the neighborhood.



I've been making Guac for a very long time and my recipe has evolved, and, from the rave reviews it gets, it must be pretty darned good.

So . . .  on a Saturday afternoon, when Capn' Dan and I were just hangin' out, and we were hungry, I decided to make Guacamole and film a cooking video showing you how to make it too.

All the tools you'll need are a potato masher and an avocado scooper/slicer  (or a large spoon), a cutting board, and, of course, a bowl.
